Venturing outside, into the wild, equals freedom, tranquility and space for deep thoughts and grand experiences.

At SimpleHiker we believe that the best way to immerse oneself into that experience is to leave the complexities of modern urban living behind, by keeping things simple and only bringing what you really need. That allows us to be present and attentatvie to our surroundings and the environment - now and here, living life and creating memories that will last way longer than any of the stuff we bring.

We have created SimpleHiker from a minimalist philosophy, inspired to a large extend by the legendary French adventurer, author and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupery, who said:

"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away"

We apply this idea, whenever we choose the products that we sell. That is also why you will not find the typical broad selection of everything 'outdoorsy' here. We only sell the gear that we know does the job, does it well and does just what we need without burdening us with gadgets and unnecessary features.

We are not the cheapest. Nor do we carry the most expensive brands. We carry products from manufacturers - typically family owned - that are proud of what they do and produce high quality products at fair prices.
